San Diego has always been home for me. I was born and raised here as the youngest of four in a close-knit Mexican American family. Growing up in a military household taught me early on about structure, resilience, and the strength of community. Some of my favorite memories are grabbing In-N-Out and heading to the beach with my family on the weekends—simple traditions that still mean a lot to me.

Growing up isn’t always easy. Kids, teens and young adults today face a lot of anxiety, trauma, family changes, school stress, and relationship challenges. I specialize in helping young people navigate these struggles by creating a safe, supportive space where they can express themselves, build confidence, and learn healthy ways to cope. I also work closely with families to support healing and growth, especially during difficult transitions like parent separation or divorce. I offer services in both English and Spanish and I’m committed to creating a culturally sensitive and welcoming environment.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish from California State University, San Bernardino. After undergrad, I returned to San Diego and completed my Master’s in Social Work at San Diego State University.

I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and a Strength Based approach to meet each client where they are. My goal is to help youth understand their emotions, improve communication, and strengthen relationships at home and beyond.

Outside the office I enjoy going to the gym, going to brunch with my friends, spending time with my family and partner, walking my dog Shaggy, and grabbing an iced coffee from a new coffee shop. I enjoy watching a good reality tv show as well!
